After Care

Please follow the below points after your treatment to ensure the best results possible.

• Keep the treated area as clean as possible.
• Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours. 
• To assist with any bruising you may wish to apply a topical treatment such as arnicare or hirudoid cream. 
• You may apply a cool compress (do not apply ice directly to your skin) to assist with any swelling. 
• Swelling is to be expected. Do not worry. This will subside in the coming days and weeks. 
• Avoid the use of skin care containing active ingredients, perfumes and colours during the first 12 hours. 
• Avoid applying oil based make up during the first 24 hours, mineral make up is fine. 
• Avoid facials, waxing, chemical peels, skin needling, IPL or energy based treatments for two weeks after treatment. 
• Avoid pressure on the treated area for the first few nights, especially if your cheeks have been treated. 
• Pain relief such as paracetamol may be taken if the treated area is tender. 
• Do not massage the treated area unless specifically instructed to do so. 
• No kissing, drinking through a straw or smoking for 24hours if lips have been treated.
• No dental appointments for 7 days after treatment.
• No international travel for 10 days.
